Experience our new E-Kits

Why use these kits?

Soroptimist International Albany members have produced these kits containing resources necessary for Multi-Sensory experiences.

People who might benefit from these kits may include those in aged care, people with neurological disorders, mental health agencies and may also be used with children.

Common sensory items have been collated into one themed kit. They can be used by individuals or groups.

Multi-Sensory cues in the kits can include as many as the following:

  • Visual ie sight

  • Auditory ie sound

  • Tactile ie touch

  • Olfactory ie smell

  • Taste

  • Limbic  ie wellbeing /happiness

  • Vestibular ie movement

The more senses incorporated in the Multi-Sensory experience, the better the memory recall may be.
